This tea kettle was made during the 2020 pandemic shutdown, and was one of the many ceramic pieces I made to challenge myself with creating different vessels. It was thrown in many pieces and then assembled to complete the form, along with being glazed and fired with a color sold by Spectrum Glazes, called Nova Storm Blue. It was listed and sold as one of the first products in my Etsy launch. There are many different styles of handmade tea kettles in differing cultures, and I wish to challenge myself with more in the future.
